  • TOEFL Listening Strategies

: The introductions for the conversations and lectures contain important information that will help you prepare your mind to listen. For example, the narrator may say, “Now get ready to listen to a part of a lecture in a history class.” When you hear the introduction, you learn two useful facts. First, you know that you will be listening to a lecture. Second, you know that the lecture will be about history. This is helpful because it is a preview for the listening passage.

  • TOEFL Speaking

    Overview of the Speaking Section. The speaking section tests your ability to communicate in English in an academic setting. During the test, you will be presented with six speaking questions. The questions ask for a response to a single question, a conversation, a talk, or a lecture. The prompts and questions are presented only one time.

  • TOEFL Reading

    Overview of the reading section
. The Reading section tests your ability to understand reading passages like those in college textbooks. The reading passages are presented in one complete section, which allows you to move to the next passage and return to a previous passage to change questions or answers that you may have left blank throughout the entire section. The passages are about 700 words in length.

  • Fixed Prepositions

    There are certain verbs, nouns, adjectives and participles that take the particular prepositions after them. It displays fitness in language. Your grammatical accuracy and range is often tested in International English Exams. Practise using these phrases in sentences, especially while writing and speaking, with suitable examples.


    The International English Language Testing System, or IELTS™ is an international standardised test of English language proficiency for non-native English language speakers. It is jointly managed by the British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia and Cambridge Assessment English, and was established in 1989. IELTS is one of the major English-language tests in the world, others being the TOEFL, PTE:A.

  • GRE

    GRE aims to measure verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, analytical writing, and critical thinking skills that have been acquired over a long period of learning. The content of the GRE consists of certain specific algebra, geometry, arithmetic, and vocabulary sections. The GRE General Test is offered as a computer-based exam administered at Prometric testing centers. In the graduate school admissions process, the level of emphasis that is placed upon GRE scores varies widely between schools and departments within schools.

  • Life Skills – IELTS

    Life Skills is a part of IELTS Test that measures the listening and speaking ability of a test taker. This is a programme suitable for dependents who wish not to work but stay with their spouse in an English speaking country. This course is suitable for people working in India as well.
